About Lucy
Hello!
I’m Lucy Skipper, a personal trainer, nutritionist, triathlete, psychology student, creative writer, and disability advocate with a passion for helping people build strength, resilience, and autonomy through movement and nutrition.
My coaching philosophy is rooted in functional movement, endurance, and evidence-based nutrition, but it’s also shaped by lived experience. Growing up a competitive swimmer (who also happened to be undiagnosed autistic), I understand what it means to navigate and balance our goals and expectations.
As a triathlete, I know the value of effective and efficient strength training and nutrition to performance, but more importantly loving the process for life.
That’s why I work with clients to create sustainable, personalised plans that honor both their goals and their bodies.
Beyond fitness, I’m committed to amplifying neurodivergent voices through my studies at UCL, London in MSci Psychology and have a strong background in human physiology. So much of our health is influenced by our environment and mental wellbeing, so why not strive to create environments where people feel seen, supported, and empowered?
If you would like to work with me or reach out, please email me at: lucy@somastrengthperformance.com
Please note that I am currently not taking on any new clients, but be sure to watch out for when my availability changes!
While you’re here, why not take a look at the blog or my free resources?
